On Wednesday's Tribal Council Meeting questions were raised
concerning Tribal attorney Susan Aasen representing the Bad River
Tribe as an elected official. On February 23, 2009 attorney Aasen
went to Washington D.C. and sat in the seat reserved for the Tribal
Chairman. The very next day, she attended the State Of Tribes
Address in Madison WI., again she sat in the seat reserved for the
Tribal Chair Of the Bad River Tribe.

Members questioned  the items listed in executive session. Letter
of Credit/Amnicon Bay Issue and Housing Board Selection were items
that members felt should be in open session. In the past, both topics
were discussed in open session. No response from the Council was
given. The question as to who makes up the agenda was asked.
Council member Leoso stated that Susan Aasen had made up the
agenda and she didn't know why our Tribal Attorney was now making
out the agenda. Again, no response from the Council members.
